PRIVATE SESSIONS WITH MAGNUS JONAS

Here is some information that may be valuable for you to read before we meet.

Note: At the bottom of this page is a link to a consent form for all new clients to fill out.

PRACTICAL:
The physical sessions are 90 minutes long, and are offered in a calm and quite space.

The session costs 1444 kroners, which is invoiced to your e-mail after the session.

It can be beneficial to take time to prepare yourself before our session.
Avoid rushing, stress and over stimulation.
It is also recommended to have spacious time after the session to integrate and relax.

Before arriving you can contemplate:

Why are you coming?
What do you want to get out of the session?
What is being born in your life right now?
What are you ready to let go of?

Please wear loose and comfortable clothes. No jeans, leather belts etc.

CONTENT OF SESSION:
Every person will need something different, at different times to prosper in benevolent ways. Thus, I have no standardised protocol to work by, and none of my sessions are alike. I often decide the content of a session on the go, according to what arises when we spend time together. The intention is to track the flow of life as it manifests as sensations in the body, fluctuations of mind or whispering intuitions, and then guide the natural movement towards a place of harmony and balance.

Despite not following a particular protocol, I often begin the session with a conversation to narrow in on the themes and potentials of the day. Then you will be invited to lie down for a session of guided breathing, combined with cranio-sacral touch. This is a gentle, non-invasive modality of holding the body on areas like the feet, hips, stomach or head to interact with body, mind and emotions in a non-verbal way.

The breathing is performed lying down on the back on a massage bench, and can vary from being gentle for relaxation and grounding to more intense for ploughing through landscapes of stagnant thoughts and emotions.
We communicate as we work, to find a flow that you can experience as fruitful and digestible.

Other modalities I often find useful to incorporate in a session include, but are not limited to: 

  • Yoga and posture exercises

  • Basic breathing training

  • Guided meditations

  • Chanting and mantras

  • Lifestyle coaching

  • Dietary recommendations

  • Prayers and ritual

HOW I APPROACH HEALING:
The work I offer is performed with a deep respect for the genius that flows in a human being. Through my 12 years of study and practice in both western and eastern traditions I have come to understand that every person has within her or himself the innate intelligence and capacity to overcome any of life’s obstacles and difficulties.
My role is to invite this capacity to awaken in you.

I approach health in a holistic manner. This means that I view the human being as being fluently interconnected between all parts of the body, the energy that animates it, the mind and emotions and our higher self. Even though our ailments and difficulties may manifest a particular place, the obstruction is connected to all aspects of our being. Therefore a disturbing emotional pattern may perhaps be best targeted through the working with the hips. Pain in the back may be released most sustainably through meditations targeting the mind. The work I offer is developed to work with multiple layers of our being at once, communicating with the whole system as one fluent organism.

The most important ingredient in such work will be your intention for healing.
The primary tool to make it happen is the conscious breath.

For me, holistic healing also implies that we are targeting the root of the dis-ease. The symptoms you display is not the main focus, but act more like roadsigns pointing us towards the place where health initially came out of balance. As we are not primarily working to relieve symptoms (although this will often be a welcomed side effect) the healing work will demand a level of ownership from you. There is seldom a quick fix, but in return the corrections we make will be sustainable on a whole other level.
